3 Days 3 Quotes: Quotations up to the Imagination (Day 1)

Here is for the first day of three! I’d like to thank CactusMatt for tagging me and keeping me involved with the community. I’m going to enjoy these three days because quotes can be used to inspire, laugh, or to relate to. Now lets recap on Da Rulez.

I need to go to the gym to raise them attack points.

Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day, can be a super short post).
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day

Today’s Quote:

“You can’t get it wrong if it’s the truth.” -Pyrrha Nikos

mggkkhm
I know, I know. I quoted RWBY. Don’t hate me.

I don’t know why I like this quote as much as I do…maybe because it’s so simple. To me, one of the most respectable qualities a person can have is honesty. I know damn well how hard it is to tell the truth in unfavorable situations, but it is still something I try to do.

On another note, Shiny Days is the song I’m listening to while writing this and I gotta say DAMN IT’S TOO CATCHY! I need to catch up on the show

Nominations:

When faced with hardships don’t offer people a hand, offer them a nice egg in this trying time.

Bonus Quotes Without Context:
This is a little thing I want to add with it, by putting 3 quotes that made me laugh. Comedy is important to me.

  • “Gyaaah! And it was the best phrase of all time, too! It would’ve filled you with chills! This is a big loss for humanity as well! So you gotta act sadder!” -Ibuki Mioda

-Whenever I miss the chance to say a crappy joke.

  • “Oh, I get it, he’s an NPC!” -Futaba Sakura

-Walking around my school campus and seeing all the soulless eyes of fellow college students.

  • “I think I am XXI century’s Einstein.” -Akihisa Yoshii

-I have never had this level of confidence in my intellect for the near 20 years I’ve been on this Earth.

I didn’t write too much on today’s quote because I don’t like being too serious, I prefer a mix that includes humor. I am also quite tired, but this is the only free time I’ve had this week. Holy shit I just looked at the time and I realized it’s 4:58 AM…I should end this. I’d like to thank Matt again for giving me another opportunity to share a bit about myself through these quotes!

I really hope I can get the other two on schedule, but I can’t promise anything due to the school quarter almost ending. Meaning FINALS WEEK is approaching.

Gotta get that edumacation!

Darling in the Franxx: Episode 7 Review – Comet-Blocked (with Series Hypotheses)

Before I start the review of the episode, I would highly recommend reading CactusMatt’s Q and A of the series as he cuts into the glaring problem of the show, which is the fan service and the portrayal of the women in the series.

Episode 7. The “necessary” beach episode of any successful series. I was really hoping the series would not have one, but regardless it’s time to start the review the episode. Continue reading “Darling in the Franxx: Episode 7 Review – Comet-Blocked (with Series Hypotheses)”

Quick Manga Rec: Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (We Can’t Study)

I’m starting these Quick Manga Recommendations (QMR) since I read a ridiculous amount of manga, and there are so many stories I want to talk about. These posts are going to contain a short paraphrased description of the series, the reasons why I enjoy it, a rating, and of course Best Girl(if applicable). They also won’t contain spoilers, so people can pick them up.

Liebster Award – Diversify Yo Bonds

So for anyone who got the title reference; we’re already friends. I’d like to thank Kelladon for the nomination. I think it’s funny that we nominated each other for our Neat Award posts within hours of each other, so I decided to do the other nomination for the Liebster Award.

Neat Blog Award – Simple And Clean

I don’t know how, but we did it. I’m surprised I received an award as I just recently made a blog and I am still making edits to the site whenever I get randomly inspired to do so. I would like to thank the academy for the nomination and I have to thank all the random 3 AM tweaks I make to my site.

With this award I have ascended.

In all seriousness though I would like to thank Irina for the recommendation and for being a larger person in the community who gave tips to someone the day after he started his blog. Continue reading “Neat Blog Award – Simple And Clean”

Darling in the Franxx: Episode 6 Review – A Curious Case of the Dino Plague

I just started Darling in the Franxx at about 4 AM last night, I was wary of the show given how they piloted the Franxx. I thought it’d be solely fan service while claiming to have a plot. I was wrong, there is some fan service (which is its worst part), but it’s actually an interesting show. But now I’m fully caught up with it, with the newest episode that came out earlier today.

I had one problem with the opening of episode 6…where the fuck was Kiss Of Death, it’s a good OP. Episode 6 picks up as the team suits up to deal with the Klaxosaur threat and in this scene we see Ichigo get demoted from childhood friend to sibling, thus killing almost any possibility for that ship to sail.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Review: One In The Chamber

Synopsis:

“Hope’s Peak Academy is home to Japan’s best and brightest high school students — the beacons of hope for the future. But that hope suddenly dies when Makoto Naegi and his classmates find themselves imprisoned in the school, cut off from the outside world and subject to the whims of a strange, murderous little bear named Monokuma. He pits the students against each other, promising freedom to anyone who can murder a fellow classmate and get away with it. It’s up to you to find out who Monokuma really is, and why you’ve been taken from the world you once knew. But be careful what you wish for — sometimes there’s nothing more deadly than the truth…”

Review:

I have been stuck trying to find out how to explain the game without spoiling anything, but I realized it ain’t gonna work. What I actually want to talk about is why I love the series, and I’m not going to enjoy writing about the game if I try to tip-toe around the plot. For those of you who are thinking of picking up the game, if you find visual novels fun or if you feel enjoy a game that is driven by the characters, play it. You will find yourself like many others loving the characters and undergoing the internal battle all of us felt while playing, finding who would carry the coveted title of “Best Girl/Boy.” Anything beyond this point may contain spoilers.

If you would have asked me what I knew about the Danganronpa franchise before I started playing the games, I probably would have answered, “Isn’t that the series with the bear, the trap, and the pink blood?” I had little knowledge of the series, and what I did know was due to the memes. I was recommended the series in late December by a coworker who, like me, played Persona 5. At the time I wasn’t playing any games, I was bored, but most importantly, I needed to find a way to distract myself from school.

My mentality starting the series

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc ended up being a perfect fit for me, as I had been recently getting into visual novels. For any video game I find the characters to be my favorite part, and DR has an eccentric cast that anyone could love. Now let’s check out our roster for the Killing Game, starring the 78th Class of Hope’s Peak Academy. Continue reading “Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Review: One In The Chamber”
